How is hospital linen handled differently?
Hospital linen is segregated at source into colour-coded streams — general, infected, heavily soiled and theatre — and those streams are kept separate through collection, processing and return. Clean and soiled linen never share a trolley or an uncleaned vehicle compartment. Infected-linen loads are processed on dedicated cycles.
